Selecting a Saint's Name.

The choice of a saint’s name is entirely up to the parents and child. It is not mandatory to choose the name of a saint, however this activity can help the child to come to know more about some men and women who have shown their love & witness to God in a special way.

If your child prefers s/he can research their Christian name received at Baptism and so appreciate how their namesake lived as a true witness to God.
