Infant Baptism
Baptism usually takes place when we are babies or when we are quite young - for under eight years old child, please click Infant/Child Baptism program.
The parents will need to attend a Baptism Preparation Talk and an Anointing before the chosen Baptism celebration for your child. Please click here to see the full schedule for Baptism Preparation Talk, Anointing and Baptism (must be in this order).
Please email the Sacramental Coordinator and for a Baptism Booking Form and email back to the parish office along with your child's Birth Certificate, parent's newly issued Baptism Certificate (with the Confirmation Records) and Godparent's newly issued Baptism Certificate (with the Confirmation REcords) to start the Baptism Process for your child.
There will be no baptisms celebrated during the season of Lent.
Children (over eight) years old Baptism
For those over the age of 8 who are unbaptised or baptised in another Christian denomination and wish to become a Catholic, they are included in a different sacramental program which we call ‘Order of Christian Initiation (OCI)’ for Children or ‘Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA)’ for Adults; this process prepares them to be fully initiated or received into full communion with the Catholic Church during the Season of Easter. Our 2023/24 Program has nearly finished so those who wish to join the program need to wait for 2024/25 Program.
